The history of ALO started in 2001, when a group of Cypriot business partners came in Moldova, as they have seen it as a favorable area to build a successful business concerning mobile technologies.

Under Orcun Akcinar’s managing, during 11 years, the company was continuously developing. It started with 3 shops and today the network consists of 25 Moldcell Shops and Centres, situated in Chișinău, Edineț, Ocnița, Rîșcani, Orhei, Strășeni, Cahul and Cimișlia. Also, the company has an IT Shop – ALO EXTRA, where the clients can find laptops, netbooks, tablets, mobile phones and different accessories for them.

One of our successful achievements was to open the first official NOKIA Care Centre in Moldova and to work with parteners from Finland, Germany, Romania and Ukraine. At the moment Nokia Care Centre offers a holistic solution to consumers providing not only assistance in repairing, but also support for Nokia services. Besides Nokia, we are working with other mobile brands such as: Samsung, Apple, HTC, LG, Blackberry, Sony Ericsson, Allview, Motorola. Our imports are legal and we give a warranty on all the products.

In 2008 ALO became GOLLA official distributor in Moldova. Golla is the original brand specialized in fashionable bags for portable electronics and their bags are known for their wide array of colors, funky prints and good quality.

In 2010 our network was nominated for the best brand of the year, in the category –“Household Appliances, Computers And Mobile Phones” by Best Brand of The Year - people's choice MOLDOVA (www.bestbrand.md). One year later, our activity was appreciated by MPP Consulting (Kiev, Ukraine) and FEIRA GRUP (Chisinau, Moldova) in their analytical study - TOP 50 Moldovian Brands. Also, our CEO - Orcun Akcinar, was nominated by VIP Magazin in Top 10 Best Foreign Businessmen in Moldova.
